Maruti Suzuki is preparing to enter the electric SUV market with the E-Vitara, which is scheduled to launch tomorrow. With so much excitement building around the company’s first electric model, this is the perfect time to look at the key features that buyers can expect. Maruti will offer the SUV in three drive modes — Eco, Normal and Snow — along with ten colour choices, including four dual-tone options.

Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara Features

The E-Vitara brings several feature upgrades that aim to enhance both comfort and convenience. One of the highlights is the panoramic sunroof with a fixed glass design. It gives the cabin a premium feel and adds openness to the overall interior.

The SUV comes with a five-seat layout, and the front passengers get ventilated seats, which help maintain comfort during long drives or hot weather. Maruti has also focused on safety by adding six airbags, including an additional driver knee airbag, for better protection.

For better control on challenging roads, the E-Vitara is equipped with electronic stability control and ADAS Level 2. The ADAS suite includes more than fifteen functions such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist and adaptive emergency braking. The vehicle also features a rear-view camera and parking sensors to simplify parking in tight spaces.

Maruti has added convenience features like a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, sliding and reclining rear seats, and a flexible boot area for better storage management. The SUV also supports wireless charging, which adds ease for users who prefer cable-free connectivity.

Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara Range

Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the driving range of the SUV. The E-Vitara uses a 61 kWh battery, and Maruti claims it can deliver up to 500 kilometres on a single full charge. This range makes it a practical option for both city usage and longer weekend trips.

Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara Price in India

As per early estimates, the starting price of the E-Vitara could be around ₹17 lakh (ex-showroom). If Maruti introduces the SUV at this price, it will compete directly with models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG Windsor EV.

Final Thoughts

The Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara is shaping up to be a strong contender in the electric SUV space. Its mix of features, long driving range and expected pricing makes it an appealing option for buyers planning to shift to an electric vehicle. As Maruti prepares for the official launch, the E-Vitara already looks like a promising step toward a wider electric future for the brand.
